rike1
Didn't really dig the Fitz stuff. I love the instrumentation but the vocals and lyrical content sound outdated for me. My preferred lyrical content.
Bape.
really? i've always been a fan of motown/neo-soul stuff so finding them really hit the nail on the head for me and lold at your vid. here's another vid along the same lines as fitz. another great upbeat summer tune by raphael saadiq. pbballer987
the two door cinema song was really good, favorited. the singer sounds oh so familiar to another band but i cant put my finger on it.
rike1
Yeah, that old time soul/motown doesn't do it for me. Although, I do love some funk and big band: And instrumental acid jazz from Japan. We can't forget about that.
Bape.
dust probably the voice of the dude from owl city or w/e? and i've grown up with some motown from my parents so i always have a hard on for good neosoul/new age stuff that sounds like it great posts man! big bad voodoo daddy sounds more like swing though (again i'm a fan of, anything with brass gets me haha) since you posted funk you reminded me about this great band right hurr: as for jazz from japan? love that shit. japanese jazz/hiphop production is just amazing. also serves as great study music too. here's a song by the producer nujabes if you haven't heard of him yet. rike1
Big bad Voodoo Daddy is great. They have a full album of Cab Calloway covers if you've heard of him. Loved both of those posts. Let's share some blues. Best blues band out there right now IMO. Studio albums are alright, but they have spectacular live performances. The Hill Country Revue is an amazing album.
