Ok I've been looking at the 3 monitors I have listed, I recently bought a 2053BW Samsung monitor, and it is perfect. Although I don't have a desktop computer anymore, so I am planning to sell my monitor and buy one of the following above since the resolution is fucked up on a xbox 360 when using the 2053BW (native resolution is 1650x1080)

which one would you recommend? or prefer?

They all have similar specs(all which is better than my other monitor), I am leaning towards the Asus one, since I've never had a problem with Asus, and my laptop's screen is pretty good, and really bright compared to other laptops. I'm hoping their monitors would do the same.

I was looking at the 18.5" one since its almost 80$ cheaper, but it is 3" smaller than the other two, I would like a bigger monitor but since I'm not working as much as I use to I'm considering it. I am also leaning more towrads the Asus one since it is cheaper than the 21.5" Samsung one and it has HDMI which might come in handy for me later on.

The thing is the Asus one is out of stock atm. Which one would you get?

If I get the 18.5" I'll pocket around 35$ from selling my old one, If I get either of the 22" ones I'll be paying about 60-70ish.

I have the promo if you're not a subscriber.

Damn nice monitor if you wanna flip the bill.

Yea I was already looking at that one, but the thing is that is American prices it is at least 400+ in Canada.

Those moni's I listed are canadian prices if you look it up on the newegg site it will be like 50-60$ cheaper.

I was thinking about the asus one too, I have the VGA cable and the original cables it came with. I was also planning to get a ps3 and getting the HDMI cable for it. But the only moni that has the HDMI ports is the Asus one so I can wait for that one to come in stock.

One more question is the price:size ratio, Is it worth 80$ just to get the extra 3"? I know I would want to get it bigger, since I am use to a 20" moni. So the 18.5 would seem really small.

Never EVER settle for a smaller size when it comes to screens. You'll never get a screen and say "Damn, I wish I would have gotten that smaller one..."

I used a monitor (22") with my 360 for awhile and I can tell you that anything smaller wouldn't have cut it.

Alright, I figured that I would think that too, but then right now I don't really wanna pay 80$ outta my own pocket lol.

Anyway which monitor do you use? Is it 22 or 21.5?

so the 18.5" is out of the question. I just don't want to wait for the Asus one to come back in stock.. damn XD

Also one more thing, if anyone has a better one or similar one to recommend please do so.

must be a 16:9 resolution though because I don't want the resolution to be cut off.

It was a 1680x1050 monitor so I put it on 720p.

You should be able to adjust the resolution output in the xbox setup menu if you're using VGA.

Just lower it down from 1920x1080 to one of the other ones.

Didn't your picture get stretched or squished? or have black bars on the side/top?

It was fine when I played on my 17" non wide screen monitor, but then it was too small to do anything.
