V/ts are scrub, go t/v; they're just overall better against anything. Since smite v smite is all about who can synch smite(basically you can hit them, and they can't hit you. ) stand up smiting is just fail. You can hit around 5k foh, max conviction, 2.8k visible smite, little under 5k hp(with perfect gear), max dr, et cetera.
Skill layout would be:
20 fanat
20 Holy shield
20 Foh
20 Holy Shock
X conviction(calculate your +skills so it's level 25 after BC)
rest in smite
The higher foh damage forces them to compensate a sufficient stack or sorb to be able to deal with it, and as I said, smite damage is insignificant. With grief, fanat, and HS it'll easily be enough with even 1 in smite to kill things. Smite vs smite or v.t vs t.v, the t.v will almost always win.
